Keates: Wrexham Not Getting Ahead Of Themseleves

By Tom Feaheny

Wrexham got into the top four places after a 1-0 win away at Boreham Wood.

Dean Keates says he is not getting carried away after they moved to within three points of top spot, after making it back to back wins over the past few days, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the club's website after the three points were secured, Keates praised his side.

"It is very pleasing, I felt we definitely deserved the win, we had the chances to win this match a little bit more comfortably, they had some chances that is how it goes, it is a good victory.

He added:"We don't overreact to wins or losses we are still work in progress, there are still bits to iron out, they are still getting used to each other as team mates, I can see the progress being made, the work rate has been there throughout the matches even when the results weren't going our way."

When looking at the squad, Keates revealed that he would like to bring someone in before the game on Saturday against Bromley.

"I would like to bring in another player on a permanent deal, we are working on that right now, if we can't we know we have a few options for possible loan deals as well."
