Keates: Plenty Of Twists And Turns For Wrexham

By Tom Feaheny

Wrexham boss Dean Keates says he is not getting ahead of himself despite seeing his side move to second in the table.

A 2-0 win over Ebbsfleet United means the Dragons are just a single point off top spot with nearly half the season gone, writes Tom Feaheny.

Two goals from Chris Holroyd were the difference in this match.

"The right team won, we've faced a team who made us work hard, but to get the three points was what mattered," Keates told the club's website.

"We had chances in the first-half, the clean sheet and win is very pleasing.

"It doesn't matter who gets the goals, momentum is very important, as a team we are playing very well

"We are a point off the top but there will be twists and turns, we know that, the group will face big teams in the upcoming weeks, I ask the players to give everything for the shirt and they did that with this win."
