High Five For Jones As Oxford Start To Prepare For Next Season

Oxford City boss Mark Jones says he is pleased to have seen five players sign new deals with the club.

Craig King, Eddie Jones, Udoka Godwin-Malife, Reece Fleet and Zac McEachran, have all put pen to paper in recent days, writes Tom Feaheny.

A good end to the season saw the side move away from any relegation danger and they will be looking to progress from that now.

"These are all players that we offered terms to for the current season and beyond, and we are delighted to get them," Jones told the club's website.

"We are really delighted with the business we have done today. Those five players alongside Rob Sinclair and Joe Oastler that are with us for next year."

City join a host of other Vanarama National League South sides who have put down a statement of intent with the players they have been able to keep as they prepare for the 2018/19 season.
