Hero Tarpey Moves Back To Maidenhead For Five Weeks

Dave Tarpey has rejoined the club where he made his goalscoring name.

The Barnet striker will return to Maidenhead United on loan until January 1.

Tarpey will have five weeks' worth of match minutes as he continues to recover from a long-term injury.

After signing last August in the final seconds of the transfer window, he damaged his cruciate ligament in only his second appearance for the Bees.

He earned a move into the EFL after his goal blitz took Alan Devonshire's team to the National League South title.

That season he scored 46 times in all competitions - and bagged seven before moving to the Hive in the summer of 2017.

Now he's back with the Magpies just one place outside the bottom four.
