Heath Commends Shaymen's Fine Form

FC Halifax Town boss Billy Heath says his side deserve to be in the play-off places after their latest win that saw them defeat Bromley 2-1.

The Shaymen moved to fourth in the Vanarama National League table and sit just a point off top place, highlights here, writes Tom Feaheny.

Heath spoke to the club's website about the importance of the result, after their game before that saw them lose to Dag & Red.

"Just once again a fantastic performance. It was massively important for us to bounce back from last week and we did, all the players were magnificent again.”

"I just think after that loss against Dag & Red, we were really determined. I saw it on Tuesday when we trained and I saw it again on Thursday, the two sessions were fantastic, fantastic. The players wanted to put that behind us and go again."

The win was made even more impressive after they were reduced to ten men with Scott Garner

“We didn’t say at half time to be totally negative and just sit in. We didn’t want to get everyone behind the ball that’s not the way you go, even when you’ve got ten. They did everything we asked them and more.”

"We looked not for one minute we had ten, we were creating all the chances.”
