Hartlepool Could Get Some Help To Beef Up Squad

Hartlepool United manager Matthew Bates could be getting some welcome support when it comes to new signings.

Pools have improved dramatically this season and currently sit just outside the promotion positions.

But recent dropped points perhaps demonstrate a lack of depth as injuries take their toll.

A striker may be top of Bates’ wish list with just 16 goals in their 14 National League games so far.

Owner Raj Singh says has told the Hartlepool Mail that he is happy to help.

“Without committing ourselves to anything, we're always looking to support the management team in strengthening the squad," said Singh.

“So we'll keep on working hard behind the scenes to see what can be done in that regard.

“I think we've seen already that it takes that little bit of time for things to be fine-tuned so we just have to have faith in them to get it spot on as time goes on and I'm sure they will.”
