Harry Had A Hunch About First Day Return

By David Richardson

New Chester striker Harry White will head back to his old club on the opening day of the Vanarama National League season - and says he knew it would happen!

White impressed for Solihull Moors last season and was quickly snapped up by Blues boss Jon McCarthy with no transfer fee involved.

The 22-year-old scored 12 goals for the Moors - netting in both victories over Chester - as they survived in their debut campaign in the National League.

Now the former Barnsley and Kidderminster forward is set to head back to Solihull on August 5th, just months after his departure.

"To be honest, I was expecting it!" he told the club's website.

"I wasn't shocked when it came through because I had a really strong feeling it would happen.

"I'm really excited for it, it will a good game. I left the club on no hard terms so there won't be any bad words said or anything.

"I'm very excited for the new season, the lads are buzzing in training. We've been training hard for it and we look forward to pre-season games getting underway on Monday."
