Harris Says Gloucester Performance Something To Build On

Gloucester City were defeated after conceding late against Welling United, Tim Harris though says he did take a big positive from how the game went.

A Joe Healy strike with six minutes of normal time to go proved to be City's downfall in this game, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I think you have to congratulate both teams to get a game on in those conditions, and the fans who were here, the winds were really tough," Harris told the club's website.

"We are not on a good run at the moment, the lads were excellent, I thought we were going to nick it, we put in a real performance, so to lose 1-0 is a real kick in the teeth."

"We had chances, the lads are disappointed now we have to stick together and use this performance, not ignoring the result but we have to take something from how we played.

"The lads have worked so hard in recent weeks, taken everything on board and now we have to look at getting the result next week."
