George Is Rollling Back The Years And Still Doing Good Things For Town

George Dunnington of Harrogate Town has won October’s Volunteer of the Month for the National League.

George has been involved with Harrogate Town since the 1960’s, in a number of roles including groundsman, director, club secretary, head of ground maintenance as well as a fund raiser.

Now in his eighties, he has never taken a penny from the club in all those years, but still heads up stadium maintenance and these days, he can still be found at the ground more often than he is not.

He is considered an inspiration to everyone at the Club. He is always positive, smiling and willing to go the extra mile to help people.
