Garrard Praises Maidstone's Play-Off Challenge

Luke Garrard has praised his opposition manager as Boreham Wood travel to Maidstone United tonight.

It is another away trip for Wood after they gained a point at the weekend, writes Tom Feaheny.

"He's done a fantastic job, they have gone full-time and it is clearly working for them, they are right in the play-off mix and for good reason to," Garrard told the club's website.

"As a team they are very strong, so are we, so it will make it for a good game."

A point away at the side who could have gone top of the table in Macclesfield Town last time around, was something that pleased the Boreham Wood boss.

"The boys worked ever so hard, we knew we had to nullify them, we limited them and had a chance or two as well.

"I felt all my players defensively stepped up, two clean sheets on the bounce against a team in good form is a positive result."
