Frecklington Can't Wait For Six Pointer

Gainsborough Trinity boss Dave Frecklington has not undersold the importance of their match against Nuneaton Town this weekend.

The two sides are separated by a single point with Trinity in the relegation places but with games in hand, writes Tom Feaheny.

"You can't write anyone off in this league, we have games in hand, it is a six pointer for us, we know how important it is to beat the teams around you as anyone on their day can get a win against anyone in this league," Frecklington told the club's website.

"The next games is massive for us, we are very level headed going into those games, we know it is about the team.

"We focus on the positives, the team spirit and the fight we have shown, we are realistic with what we have to achieve."

Trinity were narrowly defeated on penalties against Spennymoor Town in the FA Trophy during mid-week.
