Fowler: Belief Key For Tamworth Resurgence

Tamworth caretaker boss Mike Fowler feels his side showed a good mentality to keep fighting in the draw games as they look for a crucial victory.

They are due to face Salford City after their game against Darlington was called off at the weekend, writes Tom Feaheny.

"You can look at Salford and see it as a free-hit, that is the mentality we will have," Fowler told the club's website.

"There is a lack of belief, mistakes cost you when you are on a run like we are, but we can take a lot from the last result."

Fowler knows that their next game against one form sides, means they need to keep the positives.

"We have to carry that performance on against AFC Telford United and if we do we can get the win."

"In that match we came back from behind twice, we showed the fight that we have in this dressing room."
