Flowers Is Not Fussed As Moors Pass Up Big Chances

Solihull Moors manager Tim Flowers isn’t at all concerned by his side firing blanks against FC Halifax.

On paper it appeared two points dropped at home to the out-of-form Shaymen on Tuesday night.

But Flowers doesn’t see it that way and says his side have a great chance of being in the mix when it matters if they carry on playing like they are.

Moors face a home fixture with Boreham Wood on Saturday and the manager’s message is simple.

“On other days we have scored three, four or five when we have created those chances,” he told the club’s website after the 0-0 draw.

“If that continues we are going to be in a good place. To watch football of that calibre must be a real bonus for the Solihull Moors supporters.

“We’re on a good run but people don’t half get giddy quickly! Let’s remember where we came from a take stock a little bit.

“If football you never disrespect a point. It’s a point gained in respect of us now sitting on 35 for the season.

“We aren’t going to win every game of football we play,” Flowers added after the stalemate.
