Tigers Snare Marlon As Cook Gets His Man

Gloucester City have announced the signing of attacker Marlon Jackson.

The forward ended last season at Weston-super-Mare where he scored ten goals in 14 matches.

The Tigers are gearing up for a return to the National League North next season.

Manager Mike Cook thinks the former Newport County and Hereford frontman will add a lot to the club’s forward line.

Jackson thinks the club is moving in the right direction after the new manager inspired a fantastic turn around last season.

“I’m really excited to join Gloucester and get to work,” he said.

“I’ve been really impressed with the ambition showed by the club, it’s one that matches my own and I can’t wait for the season to start.”
