Orient Have Room For Improvement: Edinburgh

Justin Edinburgh told his Leyton Orient side they need to be better late on in games despite powering three points clear.

The O’s have an advantage following Tuesday’s night important 2-1 win at Aldershot - and Wrexham slipping to defeat against Barrow.

But the manager revealed the club have suffered another big injury blow.

Jordan Maguire-Drew, their January signing, had to be replaced and it doesn’t look good for the former Wrexham playmaker.

“We’re not making it easy for ourselves, which is a concern,” Edinburgh told the club’s video service.

“It’s a valuable three points but the end to our last three away games is not what we want. It’s something we need to address.

“Credit to Aldershot because they played well and they are fighting for their manager.

“What’s frustrating is that we’ve been caught on the back foot - we were didn’t play with the intensity we needed to.”

Asked if the injury to Maguire-Drew could be a serious one, he said: “It looks that way.

“He’s felt something on his calf - we’re hopeful, but it looks like it could be quite serious.

He has been playing so well, so it’s a blow for us.”
