Twenty-one-year-old Owusu was released by the Royals in the summer of 2016 and after a trial at Tranmere Rovers.

He spent last season with Basingstoke Town in the Evo-Stik League South Premier, scoring 12 goals in forty-one appearances.

The move follows Chinedu McKenzie’s departure from the Magpies earlier this week.
