Magpie Dev Believes They're On The Right Track Once Again

Victory against Maidstone United last time out saw the Magpies pull four points clear of the National League drop-zone.

It's a win that gives Devonshire the belief that his side have put their poor form to bed as they head to Solihull Moors this Saturday.

"In the last two games we’ve turned it around but now we’ve got to do it at home as well," he told the Maidenhead Advertiser.

"We always knew what we were capable but we have got to keep it going.

"There are hard games to come - every game in this league is hard and you can easily lose seven or eight on the bounce.

"We can’t afford to do that so have got to pick up points where we can. We can’t take anything for granted.

"Solihull are in the title hunt," Devonshire added. "They’re third at the moment and I can’t remember the last time they lost a match.

"They’re a strong, powerful, mobile side and we’ll have our work cut out, that’s for sure, but we’re looking forward to it."
