Heath Happy With Reds Draw After Harriers Thriller

Billy Heath was happy after his side rescued a point against Kidderminster Harriers but was disappointed with the manner in which his side conceded three goals, writes Tom Scott.

The Reds came from behind twice in a six-goal thriller at the Impact Arena and Heath told the club’s website that he was glad his side could salvage a draw in the end.

“The disappointment of the day was the goals we conceded and the way we conceded them because we’ve switched off for two goals, but I think 3-3 is a fair result,” he said.

“When you score three goals at home, that should be enough to win the game, but we were under no illusions when we kicked off, we knew Kidderminster were going to be one of the best teams in this league, so I think it’s a decent point today.

He added: “All credit to the boys to keep going and still keeping the belief and to get the goal at the end. The main thing is that we got something from the game – it would’ve been slightly unfair if we didn’t.”

Next up for Alfreton is a trip to Brackley on Tuesday night.
