Driver Makes Wings Switch

Welling United have signed defender Callum Driver from league rivals Hemel Hempstead Town.

Driver returned to Hemel in June, having been on loan with the Tudors from National League side Maidstone United towards the latter part of the 2016/17 season.

The 25-year-old started his career at West Ham United and made his Football League debut for Burton Albion whilst on loan to the Brewers in 2012/13.

Since leaving the professional game he has also played for Whitehawk and Dartford, signing for Maidstone in the summer of 2015.

Driver will go into the Wings` squad to play Truro City tomorrow.
