BT Sport's Landmark Moment As Cameras Roll Into Bromley

Neil Smith thinks his Bromley side are really starting to come good - now they look to put on a show for the BT cameras in a game which marks the point in which each of the 24 clubs have now been shown live.

It's a landmark for the broadcaster, whose latest offering come from Hayes Lane on New Year's Day evening.

They have picked one involving two in-form teams as the London derby adds to the interest as they bring the latest live game into our living rooms.

A fantastic victory on Saturday at Havant & Waterlooville was Bromley's third win in four games.

The 3-0 win sets them up perfectly for New Year’s Day, a home game with fellow in-form team Sutton United.

The game in live on BT Sport and the excitement is growing.

Smith thinks his team are peaking at the right time as they move clear of trouble.

He said: “I am proud and I am really pleased. The team are making great strides and we played very well.

“We are starting to show now what we can do and play the type of football I know we are capable of.

“Considering the amount of matches we have played lately, to win three is brilliant and we are now looking up.

“We think the club has progressed this year on and off the pitch and now we’re wanting the games to come.”

On the Sutton test, Smith is looking forward to welcoming the cameras.

“It’ll be another big game for us and having played them twice in December we will certainly know a lot about each other!” the manager added.

Sutton won the National League game on Boxing Day but it was Bromley who came out on top in the FA Trophy tie eleven days earlier.
