By Sam Elliott

In a clear demonstration of how BT Sport values its association with the Vanarama National League, our television broadcast partner last weekend had three reporters making live real time presentations.

They integrated matches at Leyton Orient, Macclesfield Town and Wrexham into their flagship Saturday 'BT Sport Score' programme on another eventual day of ups and downs for our clubs.

This is a clear indication of how important the competition is rated by BT Sport and its core value in the English game at this time, especially this season with the excitement building towards those all important crucial end of season clashes to establish the Championship title destination.

If you thought last season was exciting then get on board this season's roller coaster awaiting all football fans.

It is just going to get a better and bigger ride this time around. And any Vanarama National League fan can join them by tweeting the BT Sport Score team @btsportscore

They picked a thrilling weekend to get around the grounds with new leaders, surprise results and big wins.

Macclesfield went back to the top after coming from behind to finally finish off Guiseley at Moss Rose.

They dislodged Wrexham, who could only draw 1-1 at home to FC Halifax Town.

In what was a great match, Tranmere Rovers has to settle for a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road.

Down the road in the live BT Sport game at 5.30pm, Aldershot upped the pressure on Macclesfield Town with a 2-0 win at Dagenham & Redbridge.
