BT Cameras Roll! An Additional Live TV Game Is Announced

By Sam Elliott

BT Sport have confirmed another live match next weekend - and this time the bubbly could be flowing.

The cameras will follow Macclesfield Town to Eastleigh on Saturday, with the game in Hampshire kicking off at 12.30pm.

Although the Silkmen could already be champions should Dover Athletic beat Tranmere on Tuesday night, the BT Sport team will be at the Silverlake for a potentially big moment.

John Askey’s side couldn’t get the job done at home to Leyton Orient on Saturday, the 1-1 draw keeping the champagne on ice.

But, should Rovers, come away with something from the Crabble on Tuesday, Macclesfield will win the league at Eastleigh - and may need only a point.

The manager said after the game: “We’re a point closer, it’s a shame we couldn’t do the job in front of our own fans but we worked our socks off.

“Maybe we were a bit leggy but we’ve come a very long way and now we just want to get over the line.”
