Bower Knows Avenue Face Tough Curzon Task

A 3-1 win against Curzon Ashton saw Bradford Park Avenue stay in the play-off places on Boxing Day with the two sides meeting once again.

After scoring twice in added time to record the victory, this saw the side stay in the top seven places going into 2018, with Bower knowing the lateness of their win showed how tough facing them again will be, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We know how Curzon play and they made it difficult for us, last time round we kept going and that mentality is something I was very pleased to see, we deserved the win with how we played to have that moment of skill from Wayne Brooksby that won us it," Bower said.

"Going to there place gives them a little something as well, but we know with the players we have if we can get that service in place they can deliver for us.

"To be on 38 points going into the new year, is something I am very proud of, we know that the feeling is good, we want it to continue."
