Blues' Reds Rout No Big Problem Says Boss Johnson

Chester’s weekend drubbing by Liverpool will do them more good than harm.
That is the view of Blues joint manager Anthony Johnson after Jurgen’s Klopp’s Premier League giants stretched their legs.
The 7-0 friendly defeat to a strong Reds was totally expected according to the former Salford City boss.
He took the opportunity to hand midfielder Scott Burton the captaincy following the game.
“Sometimes we didn’t get near them, but what a learning experience it was for the players,” he said.
“I wasn’t happy with some of the goals we let in but we’ll grow stronger as a group.
“It was about the occasion and what a wonderful day it was.”
Chester kick-off the National League North season against Spennymoor on August 4.
