A Bad Quarter Of An Hour Harmed Has Harries Says Eustace

John Eustace believes his Kidderminster side were unlucky not to snatch a share of the spoils at Tamworth last night.

Harriers couldn't build on their excellent win at Southport on Saturday as they went down 2-1 to the Lambs.

But late chances went begging and promotion hopefuls Kiddy have now won just once in their last five.

Eustace saw the positives in defeat. His attentions will now turn to the FA Cup where they will hope to avoid an upset at Step 5 club Deeping Rangers on Saturday..

“I thought we started the game really well for the first half an hour," the manager commented on the club's official website.

“We had a bad 15 minutes before half time and at the start of the second half we were under the cosh a bit.

“But I was proud of the lads' efforts in the last half an hour, they stuck at it and showed a lot of character to keep going.

“In the end it could have been 2-2 but for a fantastic save from the goalkeeper.

“It’s a very tough place to come to and they’re on a great run at the moment.

“We’re obviously disappointed with the two goals but I was very pleased with the way they kept going and, as I say, we could have nicked a draw in the end.”
