Eustace: It Is A Massive Wake-Up Call For Us All

Kidderminster Harriers manager John Eustace is far from happy with their start to the new Vanarama National League North season having lost both of their games.

A Tyrone Williams own-goal gave Chorley an opening day win at Harriers and things didn't get better for Eustace's side last night.

Ashley Chambers' 91st minute winner for Nuneaton Town gave them a priceless win while rubbing salt into the wounds of Kiddy.

After losing in the play-offs last season, expectations are high at Aggborough and Eustace knows his side must improve.

He told the club's website: "I was disappointed with the performance. It is a massive wake-up call for us all, really.

"That first-half performance wasn’t good enough and conceding right at the end was disappointing.

"I don’t think we’ve deserved to lose either of the games so far but the performances, on the whole, haven’t been good enough. It’s my job to sort it out. We’ve got to work hard, the lads have got to learn from their mistakes and my mistakes.

"We will put it right sooner rather than later."
