Stones To Celebrate Five-Year Stadium Anniversary In Front Of Sellout Crowd

Maidstone United will host Premier League Crystal Palace in front of a sellout crowd at the Gallagher Stadium to celebrate its five-year anniversary.

On Saturday July 15th, 4,200 fans will be packed into the Stones' stadium for the visit of top-flight Palace, who will play for the first time under new manager Frank de Boer.

It will mark five years to the day that the Kent outfit moved to the Gallagher when Brighton and Hove Albion played Maidstone in the inaugural game in front of 2,226.

The Eagles will be the highest placed team to ever visit Maidstone and play on their 3G pitch.

Maidstone United's chief executive Bill Williams commented: “It will be an absolute honour to welcome Crystal Palace to the Gallagher Stadium this summer and we’re delighted that they will be part of our fifth anniversary celebrations.”
