Solihull Release Trio - But Loanee Is To Stay

Wes Atkinson, Ashley Sammons and Jordan Liburd have all left Solihull Moors.

Atkinson, a product of the West Bromwich Albion academy, also played for Notts County and Evo-Stik League Premier outfit Rushall Olympic.

He made his debut for Solihull against Gateshead scoring the equaliser but match time of late has been scarce and he has been released by mutual consent.

Sammons (pictured) has been playing for one of his former clubs, Evo-Stik League South Premier side Redditch United in recent weeks, whilst Liburd has been at Rushall.

Both have now had their registrations cancelled with Solihull.

Meanwhile, Fiacre Kelleher has extended his stay at The Automated Technology Group Stadium until the end of the season.

His current loan from SkyBet League One side Oxford United was due to expire this month, but the central defender will remain at The Moors for the remainder of 2017/18.

Kelleher, 21, has become an integral part of the Solihull side and has formed a solid partnership with Liam Daly in the centre of defence.

He has made twenty appearances in the league this season, scoring once away at Boreham Wood in August.
