Sinnott: Gainsborough Have Given Themseleves A Chance

Lee Sinnott says his Gainsborough side did all they could after back to back wins sees them move closer to getting out of the relegation zone.

Wins against York City and North Ferriby United ensured that Trinity know they have a crucial week coming up, writes Tom Feaheny.

“We know it is a mini league now, four positive results and we give ourselves a real chance," Sinnott told the club's website.

“We had to change the shape at the start of the second half against York City, the players reacted really well.

"Against North Ferriby, we played a team who hadn't played at the weekend, we stuck to the task, 1-0 is something I am more than happy with."

“We stuck to the task, we haven’t had the rub of the green in many games and now we look at think it's two wins in a row."

Sinnott says the wins is helping build momentum with two games to go.

“To beat a team who were in the play-off places, then a side who had the freedom of having no pressure, we must build on this."
