Saturday's Big Preview National League South

By Sam Elliott

We may be at around the half-way point in the season but two club are saying goodbye to grounds this weekend.

Dulwich Hamlet are on of them, they play their final match at Imperial Fields before moving back to Champion Hill.

In what will be one of our social media matches of the weekend, they say ta-ta to Tooting with a big game - welcoming Torquay United, who have eyes on closing the gap on in-active leaders Woking.

The other club soon to be returning are Truro City, and their last outing at Plainmoor is expecting to be Saturday’s game with St Albans City.

Ian Allinson the Saints manager didn’t mix his words after FA Trophy exit to Weymouth - telling anyone players who don’t want to be there that they can go.

Billericay will return to the top if they win at home to Oxford City.

Chelmsford City manager Rod Stringer said this week that he wants to be judged at the end of the season with the Clarets lacking consistency.

“My job is to get this club into the play-offs. We're having a bit of a lull at the moment but I want to be judged at the end of the season, not halfway through it. We're not massively behind the play-off places,” he told BBC Essex.

They need to win at home to Gloucester City to lift spirits.

Welling United have only lost one league game since August are will be short odds to extend that run at home to struggling Hungerford.

Weston-super-Mare manager says the table doesn’t reflect how good his team are but with just one win so far they sit bottom.

They won’t have it their own way at Chippenham, while Concord Rangers go to Hemel Hempstead.

East Thurrock are also in need of a win but so are Hampton - the Beavers haven’t won a league game since mid-September.

Wealdstone’s Bobby Wilkinson has backed his team to finish in the top seven and they’ll hold onto a play-off place if they dispose of Eastbourne Borough.
