New Boss Edinburgh Sets Out Orient’s Season Survival Guide

New Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh has set out a list of demands for his players after going a 15th match without a win.

Edinburgh replaced Steve Davis at Brisbane Road last week having managed in the Football League with Gillingham and Northampton.

But he got off to the worst possible start on Saturday as his team went down 1-0 at bottom of the table Solihull Moors.

Now he new boss has outlined what is required to turn the club’s season around.

Orient face National League leaders Sutton United this coming weekend - and he knows what is need.

Edinburgh said: “I honestly feel Leyton Orient are the biggest club in the league and we have to start playing like that. We need to start getting results - it’s always been the bottom line.

“I can’t fault the players, but they have to expect the battles we are going to get.

“The players gave everything against Solihull but we feel short, that was the case but you can see they are capable.

“We need to be more aggressive, we need to be more physically strong and we need the players to totally understand what the National League is all about.

“We’ve got to move on quickly and make sure we are ready for Sutton this weekend.”
