My Team-Mates! Spennymoor's Glen Taylor Lifts The Lid

We've been getting to know the Spennymoor Town squad with Glen Taylor having his say on his teammates!

The forward for Town gave his answers to these questions

The Team DJ?

Dressing room DJ varies between the kit man Leitchy who’s songs are really poor to Mark Anderson who has got a bit! Rak-Su his latest addition!

First to training?

First to training is Mark Anderson because he’s in a car school with Baz, our goalkeeper coach who needs to get there earlier to set up a session for about 7 goalkeepers.

Last to training?

The lads are generally punctual to be fair to us. AJ has had a few lates actually, too busy watching House of Cards on his iPad before training.

Biggest eater?

I’d put myself up there with the biggest eater, Mason and Tait can put some away and to be fair, Rob Ramshaw hates a Dominoes!

Teacher's pet?

Used to be the bull Shane Henry when they travelled together but nowadays days there’s probably not a teachers pet to be fair.

Worst car?

David Foley, C1. We parked our cars at the ground over night last week for the Xmas party and I parked mine next to foles to act as a repellant

Best dressed?

Best dressed is Mark Anderson, always looks well! Taito hates a brand so he always looks expensive.

Worst dressed?

Couple for this one, Foley wore a cricket jumper for the Christmas party, AJ is safe as houses and boring then you have Chandler who thinks he’s Conor McGregor but he’s just the milky bar kid from Boldon.

Hard man in the team?

Daniel Lowson, hard as nails. He fights horses for a living so he’s ridiculously strong! Our other keeper Jordan ‘one punch’ Porter fancies himself like.

Most likely to go into management?

Jamie Chandler, hates a coaching badge and never talks about his 352 system he plays with the scholars at Sunderland. I think they play out from the back.

Joker in the group?

There’s quite a few to be fair; Anderson, Chandler, Ramshaw, Griffiths and myself. Lots of faces getting put onto people’s bodies! That person goes by the name of ‘Ruthless’. It makes the group chat, changing room and bus a very funny place!
