Much More To Come From Mike Says Wrexham’s Ricketts

Sam Ricketts watched Wrexham debutant Mike Fondop get off the mark in his first game then told fans: you ain’t seen nothing yet!

Their signing from FC Halifax found the net in their 2-0 win over Airbus.

New boss Ricketts thinks his new addition will keep on improving.

“Mike is a week behind everyone else,” said the Dragons boss to the Daily Post.

“Last week the lads all played half an hour against Lex, this week it is no different, Mike has come in a week later which is why he got half an hour.

“Mike is a player with huge potential,” added the Racecourse chief.

“He certainly isn’t the finished article, but you can see he has got height, some size, some pace and some power and strength and it is where he is at now and making sure we improve him going on as the season goes on.”
