Mixed Emotions For Bromley Boss Smith

By Tom Feaheny

Bromley manager Neil Smith saw his side score four but also concede four during their draw at Eastleigh.

It looked like three points could have been theirs after going ahead late on but they conceded just before full-time, writes Tom Feaheny.

"To be 2-0 down after 22 minutes then the boys showed what we are about to get to 2-2, then with five minutes to go we go 4-3 up, we need to see it out and we just weren't able to," Smith said.

"We've scored four away from home, but we've conceded goals we shouldn't have,

"We've come to a team like Eastleigh, and disappointed with a point but we will work on that."

They have now scored the most in the league with Smith proud of how many goals they've scored but knows they have conceded too many in recent games.

"The team has goals in it, we will score from anywhere, we've been really tight a part from the past few weeks, we know we will create chances

Bromley remembered Club President Glyn Beverly who sadly passed away last week with Smith paying this tribute.

"We wanted to wear the armbands for Glyn, he was a great supporter of mine and the club, he will never be forgotten, he will always be in our hearts."
