Long Road Ahead For Villagers Admits Boss Bolder

North Ferriby United boss Chris Bolder admits it will take time for the struggling Villagers to create an identity.

Ferriby have had a miserable campaign so far and have won just once in the National League North.

They’ve lost nine matches in a row and scored just a solitary goal during that time meaning a second straight relegation will be extremely difficult to avoid.

Bolder, who took charge at the end of November, is still looking at the positives as Ferriby prepare for Saturday’s visit of Boston United.

The boss told the club’s Twitter account: “I’m really looking forward to the game on Saturday, hopefully we can continue to make progress to creating our team identity.

“It is difficult at the minute with so many changes in personnel but we will give the best with what we have available.

“We have had a few more training sessions to continue to implement key principles and philosophies but this is going to take time. Players need to get used to the required intensity and standards that are demanded in all sessions but this is a big change for some.”
