Jones: Progression Over Past Month Clear To See For Oxford City

Oxford City boss Mark Jones says his side have shown a good improvement in the past month as they look to create an even bigger game over the drop zone.

A run of three wins in a row ended as they lost to Havant and Waterlooville the team who went top thanks to the result, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We have played some really good sides and picked up the points, all we can do is control ourselves," Jones told the club's website.

"We need to keep working, keep improving, we take encouragement from what we have done in the past four weeks."

With the gap at seven points right now, Jones had this message in terms of trying to stay up.

"The focus we have is clear and will continue to be, we just need to keep picking points up, it is as simple as that."
