Former England C Keeper Signs For Wings

Welling United have signed former England C international goalkeeper Calum Kitscha.

The 24-year-old began his career with Bishop`s Stortford but really came to the fore with Histon, after arriving at the then-Conference (National League) South outfit in 2011.

It was whilst with the Stutes, for whom he made sixty-five appearances, that he was called up by Paul Fairclough for the England C squad in 2014.

In the summer of 2014, Kitscha moved to Hayes & Yeading United before moving to Cheltenham Town a year later and played a part in helping the Robins to promotion back to the Football League.

But he made only one League appearance and spent part of 2016/17 on loan at Worcester City before being released by Cheltenham in June.
