Edinburgh Not Worried By Winless End To 2018

Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh was keeping things in perspective after their goalless draw at Dover Athletic.

The leaders could only take a point back from the Kent coast after a challenging afternoon.

Although Dover’s form is good, it means Orient have only one win to show from their last four matches.

Edinburgh’s side remain top of the table, ending the year at the summit as the club look strong in the title race which is growing in excitement every week.

The manager isn’t overly worried by the lack of wins instead focusing on how far the club has come in the past 12 months.

He said: “It’s been a brilliant year for this football club.

“We haven’t ended it with the win we wanted but let’s look at how much things have changed and how much the players have achieved.

“We are only focused on ourselves and it was a good point on the face of things - no side is going to win every week, there’s going to be ups and downs along the way.”

He added: “We have come far in such a short space of time and 2018 is hopefully just the start of things to come.”
