Crowd Pleasers! The Top Attendances From Around The Grounds

So attendances aren’t just something to boast about to rival clubs - they can have a big bearing on your league position.

Here we look at the top ten attendances throughout the National League divisions from Saturday.

It proved to be another busy day as thousands of supporters packed onto the terraces to cheer on their teams.

The biggest crowd was at the Racecourse as almost 4,000 watched Wrexham chalk up another win against Maidenhead United.

Just over 3,000, meanwhile, saw Hartlepool United succumb to two late goals in their defeat against Macclesfield Town.

Three National League North clubs made it into the top ten as just under 2,400 fans witnessed Tom Greaves become FC United of Manchester’s record goalscorer against Harrogate Town.

Kidderminster Harriers and Boston United also broke into four figures for their home wins against Gainsborough Trinity and York City respectively.

It’s no surprise to see Sutton United near the top as almost 2,000 saw the U's keep up their title charge with victory against Eastleigh.

Despite being at the wrong end of the table, good crowds filed in for Torquay United’s home draw against Aldershot Town and FC Halifax Town’s home defeat to Barrow.

Elsewhere, healthy crowds watched Bromley and Dover Athletic serve up a four-goal feast whilst Solihull Moors’ home victory over Leyton Orient rounds off the top ten.
