Not many would've predicted the Linnets to be in the top three coming to the end of August - especially not off the back of trips to AFC Telford and Brackley.

But with just three points between themselves and leaders York City, Culverhouse is confident it can continue.

"Our level of performance was very, very high [against Telford last Saturday] but this is what the team is capable of producing," he said told Lynn News ahead of this weekend's Bank Holiday double-header with Curzon Ashton and Farsley Celtic.

"We've got a team of very talented individuals in that changing room and as we keep going through this league we'll get better and better, that's for sure."

Looking ahead to Curzon Ashton, Culverhouse added: "It's another test for us and at the moment, any test this group are coming across they're answering.

"But we're not getting carried away. There's a long, long way to go yet. But it's a start that that breeds confidence - and that's all we could've asked for coming into this league."
