No Curse For Pilgrims As Good Form Continues

There was no sign of the Manager of the Month curse for Craig Elliott as Boston United made it five wins in six games.

Elliott has turned the club’s season around since arriving from Shaw Lane in November.

They’ve taken 16 points from a potential 18 since the start of December and they now sit just seven points adrift of the play-offs.

Boss Elliott was frustrated his side couldn’t keep a clean sheet in the 3-1 success against Tamworth on Saturday but was pleased overall.

“I think today was the best win of the lot actually,” Elliott told the club’s Youtube channel.

“I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get a clean sheet and that has put a bit of a dampener on things but you’ve got to be happy to win games.

“A few people mentioned the curse! I’m delighted for everybody at the club because it’s an award for everybody involved from the chairman down to the players.

“That was December though and we move on now to another month and hopefully another successful one.”
