Moore And Gloucester Will Come Good Says Harris

Gloucester City manager Tim Harris has told striker Ethan Moore than he knows he will come good.

The forward missed the entire 2016/17 season through injury and is understandably lacking sharpness.

Like the Tigers, he is yet to fire this season in the Vanarama National League South after losing to Chelmsford and Truro City.

But two defeats won't get Harris down - and he told forward Moore that he must not dwell on his penalty miss on Monday.

“I told Ethan to remain positive, yes it was a poor effort and nobody knows that more than him," said Harris.

“Everyone knows the quality that Ethan has got but as I’ve said before, you can’t expect him to instantly get back firing after nearly 12 months out with injury.”

Harris knows his team need to play better and they have a chance to set the record straight against Wealdstone this weekend.

“We aren’t suddenly panicking because we’ve lost two in a row," he said ahead of the fixture on the club's official website.

"But we are certainly looking at what we can do better and what we haven’t been able to do so far.”
