Gordon Wants New Manager Sooner Rather Than Later

Kidderminster chairman Colin Gordon says he doesn’t see himself being in charge for much longer.

The club released a statement following manager Neil McFarlane’s departure suggesting that he will take over until the end of the season.

Gordon stepped into the breach alongside senior players Jimmy O’Connor and Russ Penn.

But after the 2-1 defeat at Spennymoor on Tuesday night, the caretaker opened up about the timeframe.

He told the club’s official website: “I am not going to be in charge long – we will find the right man to take us forward.

“But that man has got to come in with same attitude as these players.

“He’s got to want to be brave and play the game the right way, coupled with getting rid of the errors we’re showing at the moment.”

Kidderminster take on fellow Football League side Boston United this weekend.
