Vann Moves From Harrogate To Gainsborough For A Month

Having already brought Brad Beatson back to the Northolme on loan, Gainsborough Trinity have now added young defender Jack Vann on a month`s loan from high-flying league rivals Harrogate Town.

Vann signed for Harrogate in August following his release from SkyBet Championship neighbours Leeds United.

Vann had been at Elland Road for the previous eleven years, since the age of eight, and signed a one-year deal with the Yorkshire club in July 2016 following completion of a two-year academy scholarship.

The self-acclaimed ‘old-fashioned’ defender featured primarily for Leeds’ under-21 side and was tipped to break into the first-team before his surprise release.

He has started seven games for Harrogate this season to date and been used off the bench four times.
