Jansen: There's Much More To Come From Chorley

Chorley boss Matt Jansen believes his side can take positives from their draw against Curzon Ashton as they didn't play at their best.

Chorley have four points from their opening three games after this home draw, writes Tom Feaheny.

Jansen spoke to the club's website after the 1-1 draw and said.

"We came back from a goal down and I felt we played better in the other matches, I felt we didn't show the same level of composure in the final third in that game.

He added: "We showed good character to come back but I'm a little frustrated we didn't get all three."

The ex forward admitted he had works with his strikers on something in the days leading up to this game.

"We had a session on Thursday about driving in the final third, we seemed to be a little impatient, we weren't inventive enough in that area, that is my only criticism in those matches."

They next face Harrogate Town, with Jansen knowing it will be tough.

"They are a full-time side, the league is getting strong each year, we will go with a game plan to get something out the game."
