Edinburgh: Orient Will Be Up For Another Tough Test

Leyton Orient boss Justin Edinburgh is more than happy to keep playing the top teams in the Vanarama National League.

Orient host high-flying Aldershot Town on Saturday having recently played Boreham Wood, Bromley, Dagenham & Redbridge and Sutton United at home.

They picked up seven points from those four games and are now five points clear of the relegation places.

While some may favour an easier run, Edinburgh is keen to see how his players stack up against the best the National League has to offer.

“It seems like every game we have at home is against someone from the top five or six,” Edinburgh told the club’s YouTube channel.

“But they’re good games to play for my players and the crowd - it’s another test for us to see where we’re at.

“It’s going to be a tough task but we know what they’re about. It’s about us implementing ourselves at home. I’m looking forward to it and I know the players are as well.

“We’ve got a hectic period coming up. It’s going to be relentless and this is where the squad will be called upon and I have no doubt that they’ll be more than capable of dealing with it.”
