Coddington Says Wrexham's Late Point Shows Spirit

By Tom Feaheny

Returning Wrexham goalkeeper Luke Coddington who re-joined the club on loan from Northampton Town says the side could have beaten Guiseley had they taken their chances.

The goalie only had his return confirmed a day ago, he was straight in the firing line during the 1-1 draw against Guiseley, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the club website after his second debut he said.

"The defence is more solid, the goal we conceded took a few deflections, I have made one save first half and then one save second half, we just didn't take the chances that we created."

"We scored late and that is a good point considering the position we were in in added time though."

After joining a new permanent club in the summer in Northampton Town, Coddington spoke about the changes he has already noticed within the Wrexham group.

"Compared to last time there have been a few changes, you can tell that the back line in front of me has that confidence of not conceding, they look that little bit more stronger."
