Edinburgh Wants O's To Build On Solid Weekend Point

Leyton Orient boss Justin Edinburgh says his side have to take positives from the draw against Ebbsfleet United, as they prepare to face Torquay United tonight.

The 1-1 draw moved the O's nine points clear of the bottom four places and after a number of changes had to be made, writes Tom Feaheny.

They are now preparing for their second home game in a matter of a few days.

"I thought it was a fair result, a keenly contested game, we showed the right character to get back into it," Edinburgh told the club's website.

"We want to win every home game, but we accept the point and now look to make it three against Torquay United."

Edinburgh says a recent illness that has affected a lot of players, has given others a chance to stand out.

"It has been a disruptive last two weeks, we have had this illness that has plenty of the players.

"Making changes in the backline isn't ideal but they did well, it was a solid performance."
