Doswell Looks Ahead To 'Fantastic' Game

Sutton United boss Paul Doswell says he can't wait for his side to host Tranmere Rovers this weekend.

Sutton find themselves eight points clear of their opponents, with a win potentially putting them top for Christmas Day, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It will be a fantastic game, they are in good form, we look forward to the match, we are facing the team who I think will win the title," Doswell told SUFCTV.

"There should be a good crowd here and these are the kind of games, you look forward to, facing a side who have that aim to be going up."

Their preparation was helped with them avoiding a replay at Truro City due to a late winner that ensured they would be in the draw for the next round.

"It is such a relief to get through because the replay would have had an impact on our preparation in the league game,"

"Truro played well and were tough to break down, it was a tough game for us, other teams around us have exited the competition at this stage."
