Does Korrey Hold The To Braintree's Revival?

Braintree Town have made a Sunday swoop to try and give their survival bid a boost.

Iron manager Danny Searle has added forward Korrey Henry to his squad.

Bringing in the striker from League Two side Yeovil Town, the 19-year-old has joined until the end of the season.

Searle replaced Hakan Hayrettin in the dug-out after the boss left to join John Still at Maidstone.

Braintree have it all to do to avoid the drop, bottom of the National League table and nine points adrift of salvation.

New boss Searle doesn’t think it’s all over just yet.

“We’re not giving up,” he said. “Of course we believe. There’s still plenty of points left to play for.”

The play title-chasers Salford City at Cressing Road on Saturday.
